Project Concept
The interior of this villa in Rijeka was designed to create a contemporary and luxurious home that makes the most of its unique location and panoramic views of Kvarner Bay. The spatial concept is a harmony of natural materials, calm tones, and carefully designed details, with integrated relaxation and recreation spaces that enable a complete quality of life within the home itself.
Project Description
The living area is organised as a spacious open plan connecting kitchen, dining, and living room. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls open the interior to the terrace and sea, allowing abundant natural light and a strong visual connection with the surroundings.
In the living room, the central element is a wall with an integrated fireplace clad in dark stone, giving the space a powerful visual identity. Alongside it, custom furniture with wooden shelves and ambient lighting is complemented by a floating staircase that becomes the dominant architectural feature.
The kitchen features clean lines and a neutral tonal palette, with a prominent kitchen island that becomes the central gathering point. The combination of stone, wood, and dark flooring creates an elegant contrast tying all parts of the interior together.
The villa’s standout features include its relaxation and recreation spaces. A private spa zone with jacuzzi is complemented by a home gym, while a large terrace with lounge zone and outdoor jacuzzi extends the living experience into the Mediterranean landscape.
