Project Concept
The interior of this family house on Zagreb’s Jelenovac hill was conceived as a space that unites contemporary elegance, functionality, and a private wellness atmosphere. The guiding idea was to create a home that suits the owners’ dynamic lifestyle while providing a place for relaxation and rejuvenation through an integrated spa zone and social spaces.
Project Description
The living area is organised as a spacious open plan where kitchen, dining, and living room complement each other. The centrepiece of the kitchen is a monolithic island of generous proportions, serving both as a work surface and a gathering point. The dining table extends naturally from the kitchen, creating a continuous zone for socialising.
The interior is built on a warm combination of natural wood, neutral tones, and dark accents that lend the space a contemporary and elegant character. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls open the interior to the surrounding greenery, flooding it with natural light and a sense of openness.
A highlight of the house is the wellness zone designed as a private spa. It features a jacuzzi surrounded by natural materials, a living green wall, and ambient lighting that creates a soothing atmosphere. The ceiling with a subtle light effect evokes a starry night sky, further enhancing the sense of relaxation and intimacy.
Alongside the spa, the house includes functional work zones such as a home office with integrated custom furniture and discreet lighting that adds warmth and clearly defines the working environment.
