Project Concept
This 42 m² apartment in Zagreb was designed to create a contemporary, warm, and functional interior that combines industrial elements with natural materials. Given the limited floor area, the focus was on maximising space, clearly organising functions, and creating a visually balanced ambience that feels spacious and comfortable for everyday life.
Project Description
The living space is organised as an open-plan area connecting the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The exposed brick wall becomes the central visual element, while a minimalist TV unit and wooden shelves add warmth and texture.
The kitchen features clean lines with a combination of light fronts and dark work surfaces. A compact kitchen island connects to the dining table, creating a continuous zone for cooking, dining, and socialising.
The living room is defined by a calm material palette combining wood, neutral surfaces, and warmer accent colours. The sleeping area features custom furniture that maximises available space while ensuring sufficient storage. The bathroom brings a strong visual identity through terrazzo finishes and contemporary sanitary elements.
